Apetizer: " day charter "

Dare trying to get out of beaten paths and take advantage of our exclusive low season offer (ask for disponibility also in August and September) embarking with us for a day charter in the bay of Palma, so nobody will have to tell you what it means to sail, pushed by the wind. You will have your own first hand experience!

We will sail from the harbour of Portocolom, Mallorca, around 10:00, the day you want, raining or with a nice sunshine. You will be envolved on the manoeuvers since the very first moment, starting with the main sail, then the foresail, trimming the sheets, feeling how the twenty tonnes of your boat comes to life as soon as the wind inflates the canvas! Then, you will hold the helm, feeling the heeling, the strenth of the wind, the tactful of the ship sliding on the water, the bow penetrating the wave as a caress, and then you will start to be familiar with the compass, the heading, the port and starboard tack, and then concepts that until now sounded to your ears as misterious marine spells will suddenly gain all their meanings: bow, stern, starboard, portside, windward, leeward, tacking, wearing...

And we are almost arriving to the little cove that we choose to have lunch. We prepare the anchor and we drop it just in front of that lovely beach. If the weather is good we will disembark with the dinghy and start the fire for a barbecue on the beach, or to cook a paella. If not, we can stay on board and prepare the BBQ there, or even cook something a little bit more elaborate in the kitchen while listening to some good music. Then, relax for a while on the hamac or have a proper siesta in your cabin.

At sunset, with a big red sun disappearing beyond the horizon, stearing towards Palma, you will be back in the harbour. Disembarking, after a long day sailing, you will feel enriched by this new experience. You will already be planning future sails...!
